Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just a few days away, major holiday sales have commenced for multiple big-box retailers like Amazon. While Black Friday falls on November 25 and Cyber Monday on November 28 this year, there’s another shopping day in between that should be on your radar — Small Business Saturday.
Created by American Express in 2010, the savings holiday seeks to spread equity and shine a light on small businesses and all they do for their communities. The goal is to bring money into communities across the country and remind people of the joys of shopping small. Many of the brands you see while scrolling social media and even Amazon are qualified as small businesses, too. The e-retailer has ramped up its efforts to champion small businesses on the platform by highlighting those sellers to customers. We took a deep dive into some of the best small business shops on Amazon and found something for everyone on your gift list, from a tabletop fireplace to a stainless steel five-piece cocktail shaker set to a card game that’ll help unpack relationships.
