Internship: Bouvier joins Amazon at their non-sort fulfillment center in Albany, New York, as an area manager intern. In his role, he works with a staff of 30 associates and takes on projects that focus on learning, investigating and implementing standard work solutions.
How HPU helped you get there: “HPU helped me by teaching me how to communicate effectively and lead a team of associates. These life and leadership skills I’ve developed at HPU have helped me succeed in my role.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My biggest mentors have been my peers in the Delta Chi fraternity on campus. When I served on the executive board, I gained positive leadership experience. They pushed me to apply for this role, knowing it would be good experience for me.”
What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?: “This internship experience has strengthened my leadership ability. Working with senior management on projects and with associates when running shifts, has been a valuable experience and improved my professional leadership skills. This has been an experience that I will bring to future jobs.”
