This is the shocking moment a gang of armed thieves raid an Apple store in Covent Garden before fleeing the scene with thousands of pounds worth of tech products.
At 1.10pm Sunday afternoon, the Metropolitan Police were called to the scene of the electronics store in central London after a group of men ‘forced their way’ in.
One witness who saw the incident from another floor of the store said customers also had their phones and belongings ‘snatched from them’.
It is understood they stole tablets, iPhones, bags and laptops from the store on The Piazza, Covent Garden.
‘I’m not sure if people were hurt, but customers had their phones and belongings snatched from them so I’m sure there was a scuffle during that,’ the witness said.
