Nike has opened a store in the North Bronx, its first in the New York City borough. Located at 340 Baychester Avenue, the store is one of the brand’s community-focused Nike Unite concept stores.
According to a press release, Nike Unite stores “aim to promote the importance of exercise while celebrating local sports heroes and giving more kids the opportunity to exercise so they can live happier, healthier lives.”
The Nike Unite concept debuted in 2020, and several locations have since opened, including one planned for Harlem in October. Nike’s other three retail concepts are Nike House of Innovation, Nike Rise. and Nike Live.
